Calculate European Union standard and reduced VAT rates and convert it to a non-euro currency
Calculate EU VAT at EU country's current VAT rates, with currency converter for EU member states which have not adopted the euro
When you need to charge VAT to your clients, or when you need to prepare VAT return claims, the calculator can be a useful tool. It allows you to quickly calculate VAT at respective European Union member state's standard and reduced rates. At the same time, you can convert charged VAT amount to member state's national currency (if it is not euro-based), applying the exchange rate published by the European Central Bank for specific date, i.e. for the specific tax period. For convinience, you can quickly select currency exchange rates on the last day of previous tax quarter, which is calculated automatically.
Just select specific EU state or select currency of a non-euro member state. The calculator will then provide you with current VAT rates and currency of that member state, so you can start calculating both net and gross price (VAT inclusive and VAT exclusive). Bellow you can see a list of current VAT rates for all EU member states.
The VAT calculator's currency exchange feature allows you to easily convert amounts to the world's highest valued currencies. You can select exchange rates at a specific date from the datepicker, and the values will also be automatically applied and calculated. If you need to see historical VAT rates, you can see it at VATapp.net's VAT rates history page.
